Warm color palette
Embrace the hues of autumn in your decor. Think rich, warm colors like deep reds, oranges, beautiful deep greens and earthy browns. These shades can be incorporated through throws, cushions, and decorative accents. If you have a neutral base palette in your home, you can easily change out the accessories to the actual color scale.
Soft throws and blankets
There's nothing quite like snuggling up with a soft, warm throw on a chilly autumn evening. Drape these over your couch, chairs, or the end of your bed for added coziness. Make a hot chocolate, grab a book, or start a film, and have a cozy movie night.
Layered textures
Combine different textures to create a unique experience. Mix and match cozy fabrics like flannel, faux fur, and knits to add depth and warmth to your home. You can easily DIY a pillow case from an old sweater, get some inspiration from youtube or pinterest.

Fill your space with the inviting scents of autumn. Candles with fragrances like cinnamon, apple, and pumpkin spice can transform your home into an autumn paradise. If your don't like candles, than buy an aroma diffuser and add your favourite oils to evaporate through your apartment. You can also put some water in a put with spices and orange peel, and let it simmer to release the aromas.
Festive centerpieces
A simple way to add warmth to your home is with a seasonal centerpiece. Decorate your dining table or coffee table with an arrangement of autumnal elements like nuts, leaves, or pumpkins. Decorate them or paint them in colours that match your home theme. If you like it extra spooky add some spiders and webs.
Cozy reading nooks
Create a reading nook with a comfy chair or window seat. Add a plump cushion, soft throw, and a side table for your hot cocoa or tea. Pile your favourite books, if you have kids or grandkids, invite them for a reading session.
Mood lighting
As the days grow shorter, embrace mood lighting. Use table lamps, floor lamps, and string lights to create a warm and inviting ambiance. You can add some leaves to your lampshades to reflect on nature.
Pumpkin spice everything
No autumn home is complete without pumpkin-spiced everything. Fill your kitchen with seasonal treats and warm drinks to sip on a cozy evening. You can batch cook pumpkin and freeze the puree in ice cubes, than grab some and warm it up with your milk of choice, add pumpkin spice to the mix, to have a great evening drink.
Outdoor decor
Don't forget the exterior of your home. Add wreaths, potted flowers, and lanterns with candles to your porch or garden. You can make decorations at home, or buy a base and get creative with it.
Homemade comfort food
